Resume of Christmas and Hogmanay 2004
Once again our Christmas House Party was a great success with one couple booking again for 2005 before they left (the same couple booked for 2004 when they left in 2003) – what better recommendation could you want? Mother Nature obliged us with 3 – 4 inches of snow over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day which made for lovely walks down the lane and through the woods. Hogmanay was quieter but the weather was better than in 2003 so we managed to retain our electricity supply throughout and everyone enjoyed their respective celebrations. On 1st January another family who had stayed at Glenan Lodge the same time last year returned for another couple of nights and the weather again obliged them with enough snow for the children to go sledging down the slope opposite the house and to build a very impressive snowman – well done Elise and Omar (and Mum). Hope to make it 3 years in a row next January!!

Full details of Christmas and Hogmanay 2005 will be published on the website during the summer but, in the meantime, if you would like us to send you a brochure when these are printed please email to glenanlodgecouk@hotmail.com and we will put your name on the list.

Winter Breaks
This year we are offering special Winter Breaks of 3 nights accommodation for the price of 2 until Easter so why not get away from the stresses of normal life for a relaxing time in the Highlands. Settle down by our log fire with a book or a video or, if relaxation isn’t your idea of fun, try skiing or snow boarding at Cairngorm, a dog sled ride or a visit to the Reindeer herd all easily accessible from Aviemore which is only 15 miles away.

Easter 2005
Get away from it all this Easter with our special 4 nights for the price of 3 offer – Good Friday to Easter Monday inclusive. We’ll even throw in a free Easter Egg for any children under 16.
