whisky distillery is within walking distance of the Lodge and
the village shop, post office and pub are only a short drive away.
Many places of historical interest are also close by including
Culloden
Battlefield, Cawdor
Castle and, of course, Loch
Ness, Skye
and John
O' Groats can also make a great day out as can Balmoral,
the Queen's summer residence.
Tomatin is midway between the skiing centre of Aviemore
and the City of Inverness,
